Liverpool Victoria Design Winners!

On Monday ten Year 9 students visited the company Liverpool Victoria for a presentation of prizes and tour of the company. The ten short listed students have been involved in a graphic design competition for LV. Year 9 students were asked to design a logo for the company to use in their national community program. Jasmin Wright who was the overall winner will have her design used by Liverpool Victoria in all their corporate community documents and branding. Jasmin won a Kindle and the offer of a work placement plus lots of other goodies. A third place prize went to Luke Warlow and second place to Pawana Sadiqi who both received offers of work placements.

Eight pupils from year 7 and 8 took part in an Indoor Athletics competition on Friday 18th January, held at St. Luke’s School. They all worked extremely hard in the different events and represented the school well. The pupils who took part were: Matthew Smith, Briony Phillips, Aiden King, Casey Han (year 8’s) and Tom Purrington, Harry Walford, Holli Castillo and Tamina Bamford (year 7’s).

We are seeking one permanent and two temporary outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated English teachers to join a successful and reflective department.  Candidates must be imaginative, inspirational and passionate about teaching with drive and ambition and a strong commitment to enabling all students to reach their full potential.  The ability to work collaboratively and to communicate effectively with colleagues is essential.
