Volunteers discover the lost voices of multicultural past. Finding Our Roots.

Posted in: Latest News on Monday, September 30th, 2013

EXETER will never be seen in quite the same light again.

It seems that this most ‘English’ of cities isn’t quite so English after all, according to a new chapter in the city’s history which has been produced by a mixed group of local volunteer researchers, over half of them from Exeter’s black and ethnic minority community.

In what’s thought to be the most comprehensive local history project of its kind nationally, Telling Our Stories, Finding Our Roots, has taken 12 months to produce but really, the story has been 2,000 years in the making…

Dropping/Collecting Your Children – PLEASE READ.

Posted in: Latest News on Friday, September 27th, 2013

Parents and guardians of children of all years are politely requested to drop-off or collect their children by car using the bus stop areas only.

You are asked to not use the staff or visitor car parks, including the disabled parking areas as this leads to congestion and poses a significant risk to pedestrians, including the children.

Under no circumstances may people stop on the zigzag marked areas on the public road, which has already resulted in an accident involving a member of the school staff.

We make every effort to ensure that our children are safe and secure during the school day.  Please help us to extend our duty of care whilst the children are still on the premises.
